Taiwei Chen received his B.S. degree in Engineering Science from National Cheng Kung University (NCKU). He earned his M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio, USA (UTSA), where he was involved in research on EMI/EMC performance in power electronics. His Master’s thesis was on “Inductor Design for Common-mode and Differential Mode Inductors” published in Dec. 2014. He has more than 6 years of experience in inverter circuit design, product testing and certification as an electrical engineer in the renewable energy industry. He is pursuing his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering at National Taiwan University. His research interests include energy harvesting power electronics, electric vehicles, improvement of microinverters, and electric power subsystem design of nano-satellites.
